Ruzbachy - Winter residence of British people

- In the village of Vysne Ruzbachy grows a little town for foreigners. Development Project Pinewood Valley has not only a foreign name but it is also the place where foreigners can buy holiday apartments. “We want to offer particularly to English clients” says Philip Lane, director of Slovakia Property Development s.r.o. company. “Our advertising is geared to web sites found on Google....2/3rds of PV is already sold”

People from England, Scotland and even Poland are interested in
purchasing apartments. First investment of clients is 20% of deposit which is
about 9000 GBP. Project offers also 6% profit from rental.

“Slovakia offers good conditions for property investors and High Tatra Mountains are well known and good for investment” added Mr Lane.

The developer is building 22 luxurious apartments and is investing 40 mill Sk.
It is only from private finances – the village of Ruzbachy did not invest in this project. Mr Lane also supposed collaboration with Slovakian bank -
Ludova Banka but he did also say that Slovakia has a very slow progress in dealing with project finance.

He also added “But still, Slovakia is very promising for the investor and after we considered a number of other places through dealing with travel agencies and real estate agencies we excluded Bratislava and Low Tatras as to where it is currently better to invest in land”

“It was the best idea to invest in Slovakia – and the investor can make certain of this with completion of the development in March next year”
